Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) 

The Association is a non-profit organisation, which does not engage in political activities or any commercial business operations. 


Aims of the Association 


  • to promote the interests of like-minded Original Equipment Suppliers
  • to defend the interests of all business in the service market actively and effectively with neighbouring associations
  • to provide an exchange platform for sharing ideas and experiences in the sector 
  • to promote the value of ‘OE Brands’ at distributor and independent workshop level
  • to promote increased training at all levels of the market 
  • to safeguard the future of the Independent Aftermarket. 
  • to remain agile and forward thinking to ensure future mobility
  • to support improvements and to safeguard distribution structures in the independent aftermarket, involving existing sales organisations and the interests of end consumers. 
  • to Identify the aftermarket sector as a credible and trustworthy alternative for service and repair 


Objectives of OESAA 



  • To educate independent workshops about the benefits of fitting genuine OE brand parts, while advising on the risks of fitting non-genuine parts that have not been produced to the specifications expected of OESAA members by vehicle manufacturers. 
  • The exchange of information in an open forum to discuss problems, issues and new developments in the independent aftermarket. We have established a Garage Forum to ensure we understand the concerns of independent workshops and can address their training needs in an appropriate manner using appropriate channels.
  • The maintenance of relationships and the exchange of information and ideas with other associations in order to safeguard the interests of OESAA, jointly with other organisations where necessary. 
  • Media relations (aftermarket, technical and general press, publications, journals, plus all digital channels including radio and television) to keep the general public aware of OESAA concerns and desires and to foster a positive impression and image of the Association.
